The Graduate Education in Nursing (GEN) Program at Morehouse School of Medicine is dedicated to preparing nursing professionals who lead with purpose and impact. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program offers two educational pathways: a Post-Master's DNP Executive Leadership for master's-prepared advanced practice registered nurses with a concentration in Community Engagement and Health Equity, and a BSN-to-DNP pathway with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialty.
Both tracks are grounded in Morehouse School of Medicine's mission to advance health equity and improve the health of underserved communities. Focused on addressing disparities in health and chronic disease, the program equips nurses with the skills needed to champion health equity and transform care delivery across diverse communities.
