Shondria Covington is a multi-channel marketing leader and analytical thinker with extensive knowledge of marketing concepts and a strong record of contributions in B2C/B2B marketing, digital and social media marketing, project management, and event planning. Shondria has held B2B and consumer marketing positions in the healthcare, wireless, and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining MSM, Shondria was Regional Marketing Director at UnitedHealthcare in Atlanta where she launched a number of successful, innovative, multi-touch marketing campaigns resulting in a healthy sales pipeline and new customer growth

Shondria is a graduate of Spelman College earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry. She received a Master of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. After receiving her MBA, she went on to further pursue her Master of Science in Marketing at the J Mack Robinson College of Business (Georgia State University)

Shondria is proud of her work in a number of civic organizations that focus on creating leadership opportunities for African-American children as well as those associations that seek to serve the underserved.  She actively gives her time to Jack and Jill of America, Inc, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program with the Internal Revenue Service. She joyfully dedicates the majority of her free time to her 15 year old daughter, a magnet student at Westlake High School who is very active in dance, both as a company dancer at her studio and as a member of the school’s dance line and competitive dance team. They both attend church at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta.

Jamille Bradfield

Jamille Bradfield is a senior-level communications leader with extensive experience developing and executing communications strategy for executives and corporations to successful resolution. She has more than 25 years of experience including public relations, media relations, crisis communications, employee communications, DEI communications, journalism, community affairs, and event planning in both the private and public sectors.  Prior to joining MSM, Jamille was Public Affairs Manager at the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office where she led community engagement, outreach and partnership efforts, and contributed to internal, external and executive communications.

Jamille began her career at PR agencies where she honed her AP Style writing and event planning skills and worked on numerous PR campaigns for corporate brands including McDonald’s, Pantene Pro-V, Cover Girl, Lactaid, Nielsen Media Research and the award-winning Diversity Communications Program at Pitney Bowes Inc.  After gaining solid agency experience, Jamille worked at Greyhound Lines Inc. in Dallas, Texas, where she handled media relations, crisis communications and served as a national spokesperson for the company.   She also managed logistics for the three-day, five-city 40th Anniversary of the Freedom Rides event, which won the national 2002 PR Week Award for Multicultural Campaign of the Year.

Following her stint at Greyhound’s corporate headquarters, Jamille worked in the corporate communications office at Blockbuster Inc.; owned and operated a full-time event planning consulting business; served as Public Information Officer at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office; worked as the film critic and entertainment reporter covering red carpet events, movie premieres, press junkets and film festivals for three newspapers —Texas Metro News, the Garland Journal and I Messenger — and hosted “At the Movies with Jamille,” a weekly movie review radio show including live interviews of industry veterans. 

In 2014, she relocated with her family back to her hometown in Atlanta and has held senior-level communications positions at The Collaborative Firm and the City of Atlanta Department of Corrections.  A seasoned political consultant, Jamille has also successfully positioned three judicial candidates to unseat incumbents and win State District Court benches in Dallas County, Texas.

Jamille holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Radio, TV and Film from Clark Atlanta University where she graduated with honors.  She has won multiple employee awards including the Above & Beyond award at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office; Civilian of the Year award at the City of Atlanta Department of Corrections; and the statewide Civilian of the Year award from the Georgia Jail Association.  She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and resides in Marietta, Georgia, with William, her devoted husband of 23 years and their two children, Kennedy and Chase, who are both college students.

LaShunda Campbell is the Director of Internal Communications at Morehouse School of Medicine. With her extensive background in communications, marketing, and public relations, Ms. Campbell is well-equipped to enhance our internal communication efforts, fostering collaboration and engagement among our staff, faculty, and donors. With nearly two decades of experience in the communications industry, Ms. Campbell brings a wealth of expertise to her role at MSM.

Her diverse background includes working in both the private and public sectors, crafting compelling narratives and launching initiatives for global audiences. She is known for her passion in telling authentic stories, creating powerful brand activations, and developing impactful multi-media content to drive organizational success.

Prior to joining the MSM, LaShunda served as the External Communications Manager at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, where she played a pivotal role in coordinating community events and securing media placements. Her contributions include coordinating grant announcements for major corporations to include Disney, PayPal, Walmart, and Wells Fargo.

Prior to RICE, Ms. Campbell held significant roles at United Parcel Service (UPS) including Social Impact Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager for The UPS Foundation. Most notably, in 2020, she led in developing and implementing the UPS’s World Headquarters COVID-19 crisis communications plan, ensuring a coordinated and effective response to the challenges posed by the pandemic across its corporate campuses. Other achievements highlighted in her tenure are leading The UPS Foundation’s 70th Anniversary celebration and serving as the editor-in-chief for the 2020 and 2021 Social Impact Report.

She holds an M.S. in Public Relations from Syracuse University and has participated in the Black Management Accelerator Program by McKinsey & Company, showcasing her commitment to continuous professional development. Her involvement in various board and volunteer experiences, such as the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Elephant in The Room, Initiative for Affordable Housing, Inc., and Kennesaw State University CARE further reflects her commitment to community engagement and social impact.

Jenifer Cooper

Jenifer Cooper is a graphic designer, video producer, and sometimes writer. Originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, she moved to Atlanta where she attended Agnes Scott College, a small, private women’s college. After earning a degree in sociology, she remained at Agnes Scott in the Office of Admissions where she started as a student tour guide and within six years became the director of admissions. While at ASC, Jenifer was the first co-chair for the Committee on Community Diversity and later served on their Alumnae Board.  

Her following six years, Jenifer served as the vice president at Melia Design Group, an interactive and graphic design studio leading their marketing and new business development efforts. She coordinated complex interactive and print projects for such clients as The College Board, Emory Healthcare, Harley-Davidson, VH1 music network, and Turner networks. She was the producer for and winner of a Telly award for a Harley-Davidson licensed video documenting 450 bikers who made an historic two-week trip across Route 66—riding as a passenger on the back of a Harley for the 2,300-mile trip. 

As director of marketing and corporate development for Carnegie Communications, an educational publishing and consulting company outside of Boston, Jenifer was responsible for launching an international recruitment magazine and establishing the company’s Creative Communications division. She formed a critical alliance with the European Council for International Schools to launch a magazine, American Colleges & Universities.  

With her own company of 22 years, Cooperworks, Inc., Jenifer served as a strategist, change agent, graphic designer, and video producer. Her experience spans a wide range of branding initiatives for foundations, colleges and universities, and corporate clients including Tuskegee University, the Johnnetta B. Cole Institute, Mercer University, Sewanee: The University of the South, The Lasker Foundation, Cox Enterprises, UST Global, and the Fox Theatre Institute.  

Jenifer began working with Morehouse School of Medicine last year as a contractor with Dr. David Hefner on the design and direction of Primarily Caring magazine and more recently with Ms. Shondria Covington in the Office of Marketing and Communications as a designer on the annual report.

Demetrios Lambros

Demetrios brings more than 25 years of marketing experience to Morehouse School of Medicine. With success in both corporate and public organizations, he is recognized as an innovative and creative marketing strategist, visionary, and developer of leading-edge solutions that deliver results.

Most notably, he has launched and grown start-ups including Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) and CartoonNetwork.com.

As a founding committee member, Demetrios inaugurated and developed the brand and marketing strategy for GGC, opening and growing the first public four-year college in the nation from zero to nearly 13,000 students.

Additionally, he:

  • Piloted and launched D2C marketing strategies that achieved a CPA of $88, compared to industry competitor’s median CPA of $578.
  • Delivered an ROI of $8.78 per dollar spent.
  • Invented a formula that predicted enrollment with a 99% accuracy.
  • Devised a strategy to promote GGC virtually during the Covid-19 pandemic, which helped increase summer enrollment by 14% over the previous year.
  • Discovered and implemented opportunities to reduce costs, saving tens of thousands annually.
  • Assisted with annual and capital campaigns, donor recognition and establishment of the GGC Foundation.

During his tenure at Turner Entertainment Group, Demetrios shifted Cartoon Network’s AOL presence to the fledgling internet with www.ghostplanet.com. He then conceived and co-spearheaded CartoonNetwork.com, growing it to the #18 most popular website world-wide. He also developed innovative, collaborative marketing strategies with corporations and brands including Hasbro, Pokémon, Microsoft, General Mills, Kellogg’s, Milton Bradley, Sony, NASCAR, MLB, NBA, and Nintendo.

Demetrios earned his MBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and is an active member in the Georgia Education Advancement Council (GEAC) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

He volunteers as Vice-Chair of the Gwinnett County Historical Preservation and Restoration Board and as a member of the McDaniel College Alumni Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Board.

Matt Rose, a visual designer and communicator, brings over eight years of expertise in creating impactful graphics that elevate organizations committed to positive social and ecological change. Matt’s work is guided by empathy, intuition, and strategy, and seamlessly integrates a deep appreciation for design theory, systems, and history.

A 2012 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Magna Cum Laude), Matt has furthered their education by taking a variety of design courses online and at Savannah College of Art and Design. Throughout their career, Matt has worked in project management, freelance design, and in-house visual communications where they've collaborated with a broad array of clients to offer bespoke design solutions that align with their unique visions and goals.

Jasmine Clark is a Marketing Manager with over 10 years of experience in health and wellness. As a marketing manager, she specializes in assisting non-profits and organizations grow their business and social media foot print. Jasmine is originally from Houston, TX but now resides in Atlanta, GA. She specializes in working with Black entrepreneurs, non-profits, and small businesses. She also holds a degree in Journalism and Child Development. Jasmine  loves bridging the gap of marketing and working with children. As a previous educator, she understands the importance of education and helping students find their passion and expounding on it.

As the Senior Digital Engagement Specialist, Michael Martin is an expert in branding and storytelling. His background comes from a degree in Cinema, Television, & Emerging Media Studies from Morehouse College, where his love for journalism and social media began as the Editor-at-Large and Social Media Director of the student-led newspaper, The Maroon Tiger. Michael understands and respects the importance of social media in today’s climate and how it helps to shape our culture, and ultimately how our individual digital identity shapes who we are and how others see us. Using this knowledge, Michael works to create a cohesive online brand
for Morehouse School of Medicine to showcase to the world.

Amanda Magdalenski comes to Morehouse School of Medicine after a 20-plus-year career in journalism, including work for three NPR stations and CBS News. She earned a Master of Science in Health Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from University of Southern California. A native of Boston and Los Angeles, Amanda moved to Georgia in 2016 and lives with her husband and dog. She is an avid reader and amateur baker.

He has a passion for special events management and providing outstanding customer service. He has developed these skills through his education, volunteer work and professional experience. In 2021, Kaleb received the UGA Greek Life "John Bateman Award" for his dedication and commitment to building a stronger community through relationship building. He has an extreme attention to detail and aims for perfection in the workplace to provide a pleasant customer experience.
