The Office of Online Education and Expanded Program offers a 5-week summer program built to expose motivated undergraduate juniors, seniors and post-baccalaureates to the Justice-Involved interview opportunity into the Master of Administration in Justice-Involved Care (MAJIC) degree program, along with a scholarship.
Morehouse School of Medicine’s Justice-Involved Program is like no other. It prepares scholars to navigate the difficulties that those who are justice involved face not only during incarceration but upon reentry. This program sits at the intersection of public health and criminal justice. The goals are to ensure health equity to all.
Why
Research shows that the rate of incarceration continues to rise exponentially. A lack of support addressing the social and mental needs of offenders contributes to a vicious cycle of reincarceration. The MAJIC program will train students on how to reduce recidivism, promote rehabilitation, encourage restoration, and ensure transformation of justice-involved individuals.
